The members of the Mistral World Cup Team became true (world) champions in their disciplines in the eighties. The then "Mistral Dream Team" consisted of the absolute top-ranking windsurfers. With legendary windsurfing performance masters such as: Jill Boyer, Tim Aagesen, Nevin Sayre, Pete Cabrinha and, last but not least, Robby Naish. The Mistral brand also convincingly confirmed the new standard. In the years to come, Mistral was trend setting in the windsurfing community that had come about worldwide. Since then and so far, Mistral has continued to set the standard in terms of patents, prominent innovating technology and design. Windsurfing, and resulting sports such as kite surfing and snowboarding, provide access to the future. New developments remain a constant challenge to Club Mistral as well. Mistral can and will continue to anticipate these. Part of this will also include other Mistral activities, such as new sports fashion lines, footwear and an extensive range of fashion accessories.
