Chiemsee- Insel- Marathon
This October RSCC Chiemsee will once again be hosting the Chiemsee Insel-Windsurf Marathon around the Chimsee islands in Bavaria, Germany. The lake – which is located to the south-east of Munich – has been a favourite windsurfing spot with the locals for decades & Mistral has been present there since the heydays of windsurfing.
Ever since the first competition took place in 1984, the event has grown to include a separate Stand Up Paddle marathon. This marathon will be held the 8th of October and is still open for enlistment. The registration fee is €15,00 and for contestants without a board, boards rentals will be available. However, the supply of these is limited, so it is wise to reserve them well in advance (please contact info@sport-vibrations.com or info@surfclub-chiemsee.de). SUP riders with their own board can register here. Windsurf riders with their own boards can register here.
The event will provide something for everyone, with free SUP equipment available for testing purposes and a Grill and BBQ bonanza to go. Drinks can also be purchased on site. Location is Harrasser Straße 133, 83209 Prien am Chiemsee.
