Gaétan Sene wins SUP tour in Bordeaux
During the recent Naish SUP Tour in Bordeaux, France (18th & 19th of June), our Mistral Team Rider Gaétan Sene was crowned overall winner.
Paddling 13km on the magnificent Garonne River - which lead from St Louis, Montferrand to the heart of Bordeaux - and with strong currents up to 6 knots, Gaétan relied on his kayaking experience to negotiate the water which was rendered unstable by waves and a strong wind. Facing stiff competition from fellow competitor Eric Terrien, Gaétan managed to capitalise on his skills, take a better course then Eric and cross the finish line a few meters ahead! Gaétan is stoked to be overall tour winner and looking forward to the upcoming Maui paddle board race, which will take place the 24th of July. We congratulate Gaétan on his win - keep on ripping!!!
