The Battle of the Paddle in California
California has crowned it's Stand Up Paddle Champions the weekend of September 24-25, 2011 in Doheny State beach, Dana Point, USA. Mistral team rider Gaétan Séné dominated the men's divsion in the 12'6 category taking top podium.
Since it first saw the light back in 2008, this event is a showcase for the world’s fastest growing water sport and has become a meeting place for SUP enthusiasts that are new to the sport, as well as established athletes. No wonder that our own Mistral Team Rider Gaétan Séné set off to California to experience the event for himself, sample the flavor and show his skills to the sea of spectators. With no specific preparation for the event under his belt, Gaétan threw himself into the competition & once again demonstrated why he is a champion.
Gaétan is delighted with his latest victory: 'the Mistral M1 Race board has once again allowed me to come up trumps'. It is a seansational board, allowing me to compete at my very best".We are looking forward to seeing Gaétan in action in 2012 & show off his spectacular talent.
