Air Pod Pads

The new multi-layer soft footpads specially aligned for the specific needs of the particular board, and absorbing all the impact energy from jumping, racing, lip-sliding or simply when windsurfing in bumpy conditions. Those teeth-rattling hard landings are a thing of the past!

 
 
G10 Fins

The shapes and foils of the CNC Fins by Kai Hopf (Sail Designer for North Sails) are based on state-of-the-art science and mathematics. The CNC technology provides each fin with the most accurate foil, flex and stability.

 
 
Rail Belt Protection

Any boards used in surf gets subjected to a lot of pressure – a wave breaking onto a board can deliver many tonnes of force. So we’ve given these boards extra rail belt reinforcing for increased damage protection.

 
 
Deck Channels

The channels integrated into the deck shape give the board extra strength and stiffness, enhancing top speed and comfort underfoot.

 
 
Carbon

The ultimate material for light weight and stiffness. Due to the strength of Carbon you achieve with less material (less weight) better performance and stiffness compared to other fi bres. All Red Dot boards are build with the „black gold“ for highest performance.

 
 
Carbon Kevlar

The most effective and sophisticated fabric combination to achieve the ultimate synergy of lowest weight, stiffness and highest impact absorption. The high elongation of Kevlar is the most effective material in combination with carbon for all wave, wavefreestyle and freestyle boards

 
 
Bottom Rails

This special Mistral shape feature is responsible for the easy but “grippy“ turning of the board. Catching with the rail in the middle of the turn or bouncing away will be history. Just lean in and carve!

 
 
Superlight

Only very special boards in the Mistral Red Dot range are qualified to get this predicate (or grade or title). Assuming a full carbon construction boards combined with an exclusive fi bre lay-up and a specially developed sandwich the boards have to achieve the lowest weights in its size and category on the total market. Weight it reduction is the ultimate performance boost for early planing, acceleration, top speed, control, and manoeuvrability!

Range of use:

The 1st Mistral Screamer board hit the scene in 1989 and since then the Screamer Range has won more tests than any other board on the market. Our R&D center in Hawaii is constantly adapting and updating the shape according to the needs of the customers.
Adapted from the SL-RD, the scoop-rocker line in combination with increased vee in front of the footstraps makes the 2009 board very lively and superfast, with racy jibing skills (Winner of the German SURF Magazine Freeride Test).
