Akira is former Sailing dinghy athlete went sailing on 470, Fire Ball, and some more, and received many good marks at that days. Currently, he is focusing on SUP racing and become one of the best paddlers in Japan. At the same time, he is organizing SUP University Student League to train youngsters for the future of the sport.
3rd place at All Japan Championship in 2017 and 2018. 1st place at Lake Yamanaka SUPer Marathon 2016, 2017 and 2018. SUP 11-City Tour overall 11th in elite solo 2018. Japanese representative of ISA World 2018 in China.
