Our Sphinx wings, offer a vastly improved wider wind range usage over most all other wings due to our innovative full radial cut panelling reducing panel warping. You can feel the added stability as the canopy holds shape in higher wind gusts providing added responsiveness. The Sphinx wing represent the best in design concept and performance, that’s better by design. For all levels of rider looking for the highest levels of performance and control.
Most wings, run panels horizontal and parallel to the central strut resulting in opposing torsional forces forming stress creases diagonally in opposing angles to the panels. Studying spinnaker sails, it was concluded a radial cut wing would be the logical option, so as the forces radiate outward from the rear to the leading edges, spreading the load in sync with the canopy spinnaker cloth in a more uniform direction. The result is improved canopy rigidity.
