Nicoline is the nine-time Danish National Women's SUP Champion, beginning her SUP love affair with the sport in 2013. She currently lives 50km north of the capital, Copenhagen. Coming from a surfing background, in 2013, she participated in the Danish National SUP Championships. She surprised herself by winning, 'This qualified me for the 2014 ISA SUP World Championship in Nicaragua. I was hooked and continued competing in many international races up until 2018. I then took a break over the next three years, and in 2021 I returned refreshed and feeling stronger than ever.' Nicoline was one of the first female participants in Denmark and has seen the sport grow and develop over time, 'It's such an easy sport to get involved with and learn.' She holds the belief that adventures in life are what fill my soul, and who could disagree? 'I love Mistral's apparel and look forward to getting onto the SUP race boards, and with this in mind, my goal is to become the best in Europe in any of the disciplines. "Money fills your pockets, adventures fill your soul" is what fuels my daily life.
