With a narrow width of 24” and 254L volume, the Vortex Air glides easily and quickly over water. Its low-drag design ensures maximum efficiency, allowing for the longest glide time with minimal resistance. Strategically designed with the widest apex just ahead of the paddler, the forward section offers excellent stability.

The long, tapered shape narrows towards the tail, facilitating efficient water run-off and enhancing overall speed. The soft underfoot EVA foam ensures superior traction, allowing your feet and ankles to stay relaxed even during extended paddling sessions and in choppy waters. For beach Le Mans-style races and quick beach recoveries, a forward-mounted grab handle on the left side allows for instant grab-and-go control.

Whether launching into the water or returning to shore, this convenient feature ensures seamless transitions and efficient race strategies. At the rear, a fast-flow, hard-edged tail rail under the tail area improves water release and reduces drag, minimising vortices and backwash for enhanced speed and efficiency.

In the package, we’ve included our top-of-the-line Mistral-designed, all-carbon 8" high-performance super light 121g fin. This fin further elevates performance, providing optimal lateral stability and weed-free operation. A raised foam step-back enhances confidence during step-back turns, allowing for added connectivity with the board as you navigate around buoys and obstacles.

Fabricated with our premium Twine-X® dual-layer PVC, fused into a thin single layer, drop-stitched with 15,000 woven polyester threads/m2. The set includes a bag, repair kit, carbon race fin and leg leash.

Leash	A 10' coiled SUP safety leg leash which attaches to the board’s rear deck D-ring; the padded-cuff fitting can be connected below the knee or around the ankle.
Bag	48 x 80 x 30 cm. Wheeled heavy duty bag with all around adjustable tensioning straps, click fasteners, padded shoulder straps, hip belt and internal pocket, two way zipper with wide mouth entry for ease of fitment of board and accessories.
Pump	Dual-action SUP hand pump for quick inflation, with pressure gauge indicating internal pressure.

About construction technology	Twine-X® incorporates two fused PVC layers into one of 1.4mm thickness, using a machine pre-lamination process and 15,000 cross-woven threads /m2. This results in increased board rigidity, faster board recoil back into shape, greater force at which recoil occurs, increased forward momentum from the recoil generated (speed x force), and a reduction of internal structural oscillation or shockwaves. Drop stitch material allows an inflatable paddle board to maintain its shape when inflated.

Care	Inspect seams regularly, carry out repairs using repair kit provided. Tighten valve using spanner supplied if leaking air. Remove stubborn marks with white spirit or PVC cleaner. Do not use abrasive creams or pads. Avoid prolonged strong UV exposure.
Storage	Deflated Storage: Remove the fin, rinse the board with fresh water, towel or air dry. Deflate and fold neatly, place in the bag, and store indoors in a dry, well-ventilated space. Avoid humid heat sources. Inflated Storage: Repeat all steps, partially deflate to 8psi.
